This Thursday, January 5, the first excerpts from the autobiography of Prince Harry “The Substitute” leaked all over the world after copies have been put on sale in advance inadvertently in a Spanish bookstore. In another excerpt from the book, the Duke of Sussex reveals that during the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh in April 2021, Charles III, then still Prince of Wales, would have asked his children: “Please boys don’t make my last years a misery”. A pious wish from a father to his sons, before being that of a king to his princes, but which unfortunately does not seem to have been heard.
