Meghan Markle’s first podcast will focus on female stereotypes

The first podcast of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Together with Spotify, it will focus on hurtful labels and stereotypes that have been applied to women.

The series will have interviews with historians and experts to “investigate the labels that try to stop women”, according to a public synopsis by Spotify. The streaming platform published a one-minute trailer on Thursday that shows people saying obscene words and talking about stereotypes applied to the strength and intelligence of women.

“I’m Meghan and this is the ‘Archetypes’, the podcast where we dissect, explore and subvert the labels that try to stop women,” says the Duchess of Sussex in the clip.

The guests have not been announced.

Harry and Meghan have a deal to produce and host podcasts for Spotify under production company Archwell Audio.

In January, the couple called attention to the streaming platform to combat the misinformation about Covid-19.

This is just one of the deals with big companies that also includes Netflix.

harry and meghan walked away from royal duties in March 2020, after describing racist attitudes of the British press against the Duchess.

After then the couple lives in California, where they are raising their two children, Archie and Lili.
