This Wednesday, the plane carrying Miley Cyrus to Paraguay was forced to make an emergency landing after being caught in a violent storm.
Big scare for Miley Cyrus who will not perform at the Asuncióno festival as planned this Wednesday, March 23. The 29-year-old singer canceled her concert after her plane was struck by lightning while flying towards Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay.
It was on her Instagram account that the American musician revealed the news. “For my fans and all those who were worried after learning about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a severe storm and was struck by lightning. My party, crew, friends and family who were all on board with me are safe after the emergency landing. Unfortunately, it was impossible for us to fly to Paraguay. I love you,” she wrote. To accompany her words, the songwriter shared a chilling video from the window showing the flash of lightning, as well as a photo of the lightning impact on the fuselage.
This Tuesday, the capital of Paraguay was hit by major floods. The official Twitter account of the festival had also announced the cancellation of the first day of the event due to weather conditions. Miley Cyrus’ next concert is scheduled for March 26 at the Lollapalooza festival in São Paulo, Brazil.
