Mylène Farmer will release a new album at the end of the year

The singer is preparing a new album in collaboration with Woodkid, Archive, Moby and AaRon. Expected release at the end of the year.

Mylène Farmer has not yet finished with music. While her fans feared the end of her career after her concerts at Paris La Défense Arena in 2019, the singer is currently working on her next album, the management company #HP announced on Friday.

“Mylène Farmer is currently in the studio for her next album which will be released at the end of 2022”, can we read in this press release, which specifies that “the artist works with Woodkid, Archive, Moby and AaRon”.

This new disc, still untitled, will be released four years after the success of Disobedience, which had sold more than 250,000 copies. She will defend it during a stadium tour called Nevermore, in tribute to the American writer Edgar Allan Poe.

Twelve concerts in nine cities

This stadium tour will take place during the summer of 2023 in nine cities with twelve concerts in France, Switzerland and Belgium. It will start on June 3, 2023 at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille, and will continue with two dates in Nantes on June 9 and 10 at the Stade de la Beaujoire, and two more at the Stade de Genève on June 16 and 17, 2023.

Then will follow a concert at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille on July 8, a date in Bordeaux on July 15 at Matmut Atlantique, before finishing at the King Baudoin Stadium in Brussels on July 22, 2023.
