National holiday in the United States: why this day became very special 24 years ago for Michelle and Barack Obama

This Monday, Barack and Michelle Obama marked America’s Independence Day with a dose of love. The former White House residents took to Twitter to share adorable photos of their eldest daughter Malia who was celebrating her 24th birthday. “Happy Birthday Malia! No matter how sophisticated, accomplished, beautiful and graceful a young woman you have become, you will always be my baby. And I will always be there to carry you,” wrote the 44th president.

the old “First-Lady” followed suit with an image of Malia still being a baby, writing: “Happy birthday, Malia – and happy 4th of July, everyone! 24 years ago, this day became very special when your wonderful personality came into this world.

And Michelle Obama to applaud the young woman of 24 years for the “beautiful” person she has become. “I am so proud of the beautiful, caring and driven young woman you have become”Michelle added. “I love you so much! Your mom”

Last May, Malia graduated from Harvard University. During an episode of “CBS This Morning,” Michelle shared her excitement about her eldest daughter’s upcoming life plans. “I can’t wait for the next chapter. That’s why I want to be as excited as all the other parents”she said last May.

Malia completed an internship for Lena Dunham’s “Girls” series and at the Weinstein Company. She also worked as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s CBS sci-fi mystery series “Extant.” In March, actor and director Donald Glover told Vanity Fair that Malia was a screenwriter for his new Amazon series “Hive.” “She’s incredibly talented,” explained Glover. “She’s really focused and she works really hard.”
