New photos of the Danish twins

The twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent are twelve years old. The Danish royal family therefore publishes new pictures of the two.

These mini bluebloods are slowly growing up: the twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent of Denmark are celebrating their 12th birthday on January 8th, 2022. New photos of the youngest children of Danish Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary are now being published on the royal family’s Instagram account.

The new photos of the aristocratic teenagers are similar in appearance to passport photos. A new portrait of Josephine is placed next to one of her twin brothers. The background of both images is white. While Vincent, who is wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, laughs happily at the camera, Josephine seems a little more reserved. She smiles, but doesn’t show her teeth. She is wearing a white blouse and a simple pearl necklace.

Commenting on the social media post, the Danish nobles wrote: “It’s Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine’s birthday and they are turning 12 today. The Prince and Princess are being celebrated by the family and the Crown Prince and Princess are delighted to share new pictures of to share with Their Royal Highnesses.”

“Twelve already? When did that happen?”

Supporters of the Scandinavian noble family are happy to see new pictures of the twins. “Already twelve? When did that happen?” Asks a user in the comment column. “Congratulations to the two, what fine young people they have become,” are the words of another follower. Another writes: “These are great children. Their parents must be incredibly proud of them!”

In addition to the twins, they also have children together, Princess Isabella, who is 15, and 17-year-old Prince Christian. He is second in line to the Danish throne after his father. Incidentally, Josephine is exactly 26 minutes younger than her twin brother. The two children were born in Copenhagen’s Rigshospitalet. The children’s grandmother is Denmark’s Queen Margrethe.
