No Way Home” will be released in the cinema in a long version

Marvel’s blockbuster, which drew over seven million viewers in 2021, returns in September with an additional 15 minutes.

Will you take a dose of Spider-Man again? No Way Homethe last adventure of the spider-man, which attracted more than seven million spectators last year at the cinema in France, will be released on the big screen at the start of the school year.

The French branch of the Sony Pictures studio announced on Wednesday that the film bringing together the three interpreters of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland) would be released in a long version on September 7.

This new version of Spider-Man: No Way Home, advertised as “funnier”, will have fifteen additional minutes, bringing the duration of the film to 2:45. It is still unclear what these additional scenes are about.

Goal: reach $2 billion in revenue

With this release, Sony and Marvel’s strategy is clear: allow Jon Watts’ film, which has already collected $ 1.9 billion at the global box office, to reach the 2 billion mark in revenue.

Spider-Man: No Way Home would then become the third film from the Marvel studio to raise more than 2 billion dollars, after Avengers: Infinity War (2.05 billion) and Avengers: Endgame (2.7 billion).

No Way Home picks up where it left off far from home in 2019, with a Spider-Man whose real identity, Peter Parker, is publicly revealed. As he attempts to plunge back into anonymity, he creates a breach in the multiverses.
