Patricia Blanco’s fiancé Andreas Ellermann was recently able to look forward to a handsome lottery win. But the excitement almost led to a heart attack.

Hamburg – Almost every German has probably played the lottery at some point and hoped to win big with six correct numbers. For Andreas Ellermann (56), the fiancé of reality actress Patricia Blanco (51), this dream has now (almost) come true. The real estate millionaire correctly typed five correct numbers on his lottery ticket without an additional number. He was therefore able to pick up a whopping 42,182 euros from the Hamburg lottery headquarters. But what was supposed to be a reason for celebration turned into a frightening ordeal for the businessman in the hospital.

After Andreas Ellermann bagged his winnings, he suddenly felt uncomfortable. He felt dizzy, had difficulty breathing, and felt pressure in his chest. Fortunately, the man in his mid-fifties switched gears quickly and immediately went to the nearest hospital. And that was a good thing. Because the doctors found Andreas Ellermann had atrial fibrillation in his heart – an incipient heart attack. The win almost cost the lottery player his life!

Andreas Ellermann wants to use his lottery winnings for a good cause

Andreas Ellermann is currently still being treated in a Hamburg hospital. The prognosis looks good: With the right medication and a weight loss of eleven kilos, Patricia Blanco’s soon-to-be husband will very likely be able to go home soon. But from now on Andreas has to change his lifestyle. He tells in conversation with the IMAGE: “The doctors told me that if I hadn’t gone to the hospital straight away, I could have been dead the next day. A last minute warning shot, I may have to change my life.”

The man from Hamburg, who is already a multi-millionaire himself, now wants to use his thousands of euros for a good cause. “I spontaneously thought about organizing a big competition with lots of high-quality prizes in my Schwarzenbek Passage and giving the money back to people in kind during these difficult times,” reveals Andreas Ellermann about the plans for his lottery win.

Knew? His proposal was too unromantic: Patricia Blanco turned into a drag queen to propose to her boyfriend Andreas Ellermann.
