“Pitch Perfect” star files for divorce

Brittany Snow is said to have filed for divorce from husband Tyler Stanaland. The couple announced their split in September.
Brittany Snow, 36, and her husband Tyler Stanaland have been going their separate ways for a few months. As “TMZ” now reports, the actress pushed ahead with the divorce after about three years of marriage. She is said to have submitted the relevant documents to the court on Wednesday. In it she is said to have given “irreconcilable differences” as the reason and explained that there was a marriage contract.
Selling the OC star Tyler Stanaland, a real estate agent and pro surfer, and Snow, aka Pitch Perfect, were married in Malibu in March 2020. They got engaged in February 2019. According to insiders quoted by “People” magazine, Stanaland’s participation in the Netflix brokerage series “Selling the OC” is said to have put a strain on the marriage and favored the breakup. In August, Stanaland revealed on the podcast Reality Life with Kate Casey that one of his co-stars tried to kiss him off-camera.
News of separation in September
Finally, in September 2022, Stanaland and Snow announced in statements on their Instagram accounts that “after much deliberation” they had made the “difficult decision” to separate. They also shared a sepia photo of the pair sitting side by side on a subway train, with Snow resting her head on her husband’s shoulder. “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for each other,” it said. “We realized that we need to take some time and make sure that each of us is living the fullest and most authentic life possible.”
