While he was at an airport, a group of reporters approached him and asked him: “Are you going to be there or not?” To which Herrera replied “I’m going to be working on friends, the only thing I can say is that it’s going to be a very successful project and I wish you all the success in the world.” With that statement, he confirmed that he will not be on the ‘Soy Rebelde Tour’.

On social networks, Internet users criticized Herrera for not being part of the tour. However, he received the support of his former colleagues. Maite Perroni spoke about the situation. While at an airport in Mexico, the actress pointed out that: “I think we have to respect each other’s personal and professional decisions, that has nothing to do with the affection and love that exists between us. They are decisions that take us to different places, nothing more”.
