In the statement published on the Instagram of the Mexican band, they clarified that Herrera did not request said sum and that the media only intends to stain the image of the artist.
“On Tuesday, January 3, TVNotas magazine published in its weekly publication false and defamatory information about the alleged agreements and negotiations for the reunion of RBD, as well as details of the past virtual show. No member of the office in charge of the project has been in contact with the magazine and has never been provided with any details regarding these projects.”, reads the first paragraph of the message.

“There is respect, affection and mutual support between the members of RBD and Alfonso Herrera, so this note only tries to discredit and attack the image, reputation, honor and integrity of the group.”, they added.
Finally, the group asked the media not to disseminate false information from TVNotas magazine.
“The official details of the RBD project will be revealed on January 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Mexico, through the official networks. We kindly ask all fans and the media not to promote false information.”, they concluded.
