RBD sells out tickets for 26 venues in minutes

After 15 years of waiting, fans of the musical band RBD have been anxious to see and listen to the Mexican group in what would be their last tour.

Minutes after the sales of 26 different events of the young artists, the tickets were already completely sold out.

The long waiting lines caused the collapse of digital platforms that offered the ticketing service.

The sold out events were the following: Mexico City, Los Angeles, Monterrey, San Paulo, New York, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, San Diego, San Francisco, Orlando, Miami, Fresno, Austin, Chicago, El Paso, among others.

And as expected, the band announced that it would launch new dates after the success of the first sale in those cities.

“Thank you so much to the fans for your incredible response. The event is sold out! New dates for RBD available”, reads the band’s Instagram profile.

‘I am Rebel Tour 2023’, as the tour is called, it is generating all kinds of reactions among the fans and many have even questioned why their country is not on the concert list, as is the case of the group’s followers in Colombia.

About RBD

The young people are a group made up of singers and actors Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Alfonso Herrera, Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez, originally from Mexico City. It was created by Pedro Damián, within the telenovela Rebelde, from Televisa.

It was formed on October 4, 2004 until their separation and their last concert was in Madrid, Spain, on December 21, 2008.

For this 2023 tour, Alfonso Herrera will be the great absentee, since he is dedicated to other projects.
