Renaud and Romane Serda, the ex-spouses reunited for the singer’s 70th birthday

Although they have been separated for more than ten years, Renaud and Romane Serda have remained closer than ever. The 51-year-old singer dedicated an Instagram post to her ex-husband on his 70th birthday. “70 years ! Family birthday. I’m happy with who we are today. Peaceful, united”, she wrote under a photo of her and the interpreter of “Mistral Gagnant”. A second shot of the 50-year-old holding a birthday cake completes her slideshow.

“Is it the Renaud from the Grévin museum or is it the real one? Thank you for specifying dear Romane”, wrote Stéphane Guillon. “Huge kisses friends,” commented Elodie Frégé who herself posted a message for her friend. “To celebrate your 70th birthday, you who keep the soul, the playfulness and the gaze of childhood in you, we were a beautiful group of “kids” to celebrate your superb songs and your superb person…”, has she said following the program “Happy Birthday Renaud” broadcast Tuesday on France 2.

Renaud and Romane Serda met in 1999. After a “false” marriage in Las Vegas, the lovebirds married in 2005 in Drôme, before divorcing in September 2011. Their son, named Malone, was born on July 14, 2006 Renaud is also the father of Lolita Séchan, born of his romance with Dominique Quilichini in 1980.
