Ricky Martin: protective order filed against me is based on false allegations

Ricky Martin came out to defend himself against the accusations of domestic violence that emerged this weekendwhich he says are based on totally false allegations.

“The protection order filed against me is based on totally false allegations, for which I will face the process with the responsibility that characterizes me”, said the artist through a statement published on his Twitter account.

In the tweet, Enrique Martín Morales, better known as Ricky Martin, expressed that because it is an ongoing legal matter cannot make particular expressions and thanked the signs of solidarity that he has received.

Yesterday, the Puerto Rican authorities confirmed that the interpreter of “La Mordidita” will have to make an appointment in court in Puerto Rico next july 21 at 9:00 a.m. for carry out a hearing with the presence of the parties involved in an alleged case of domestic violence.

The order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell, of the Court of First Instance of San Juan, after an ex parte request, according to the police statement.

Ricky Martin, he is married since 2017 with the artist of Syrian origin Jwan Yosef and has four children.

In a separate case, the artist faces a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Central District Court of more than 3 million dollars by his former manager Rebecca Druker.
