Day nine in the jungle takes place without Verena Kerth. She was the first to leave camp on Friday’s show. After all: Now she is reunited with her loved one, Marc Terenzi – and was able to look forward to a marriage proposal.
Hardest punishment
There are many rules in the camp, but the candidates don’t take them really seriously. Now they are feeling the consequences. Lucas and Dad moved around the camp alone after dark, Claudia didn’t wear a microphone several times, Cosimo slept alone by the campfire, which was illegal. RTL is now taking action and withdrawing all remaining luxury items from the campers. The nerves are blank afterwards.

“It’s such shit,” Papis complains. “What heartless people,” he continues to get upset about the loss of his cuddly snake. “Now I can’t even sleep anymore. I’ve been awake for eight days.” Djamila is also upset: “What’s the next punishment? Cigarettes gone or what?”
Worst fight
There is always trouble with Tessa. Cecilia, in particular, clashes with her. The big Zoff from the day before is still having an effect. When Tessa tries to take a step towards Cecilia in the morning and asks for a conversation, she dismisses: “The thing is, I went there in peace, but you completely freaked out and said I was aggressive. For what happened yesterday, I apologize zero point zero percent, because you’re completely insane.“Tessa sees it very differently, the situation threatens to escalate again. “Tessa, you have a completely wrong perception!” Says Cecilia. “There is no wrong perception,” says Tessa and it immediately gets loud again.

Meanwhile, Djamila is pushing for arbitration around the campfire. She couldn’t take it anymore. “We should clarify that today so that things can calm down today,” she demands. Cecilia immediately dismisses this. In their eyes, it makes “no sense”.
Weirdest moment of the evening
Hunger makes you inventive. Or at least shamelessly. Cecilia, Cosimo and Gigi are now so starved that they have come up with a plan and promptly present it to RTL on the jungle phone. Cosimo describes the “cool idea” as follows: “Now it’s a dream come true. The three of us do a great show and there’s a doner kebab with everything for everyone! Even with onions for me, although I can’t eat it.”

While Cosimo raps and Cecilia dances, Gigi pulls blank. What else? He has already done that in various reality TV formats. The fact that he shows his bare bottom into the camera does not seem to have been agreed with his fellow campers. They’re pretty shocked, “No! What are you doing?!” Cecilia and Cosimo yell, completely distraught. “Put that on. Your father sees that, Madonna! That was a mistake coming in here,” Cosimo is shocked. “Your mother sees that,” Cosimo continues to be outraged. “Why? She gave birth to me”he replies dryly and sticks to it: “I’m willing to do anything for food.”

On day nine, Jolina and Markus say: “No meat, no gain”. They are the first to be voted into the exam by the other campers. Both have to eat a certain minimum amount of five different “meat specialities” within 90 seconds. And not only that – you have to estimate the right number of grams yourself beforehand. Important, as Sonja Zietlow warns: “If you have undercut, then the star is lost. Therefore, the motto is: do not underestimate.” There is one star per portion and star if the minimum amount, spread over two plates, is eaten within the specified time.

To set the mood, pig brains are served directly. Jolina eats her portion within 35 seconds, Markus manages it in 45 seconds. Also in terms of quantity, both are above the minimum weight and thus secure the first two stars. On the other hand, both have problems with the camel’s lungs and cannot manage it in the given time – with 142 instead of 111 grams, they had set themselves a bit too much.
Cow nose is served next. This time, too, more than required ends up on the plates. While Jolina creates her portion, Markus has to give up. This gives the camp its third star. With the subsequent beef anus, Jolina and Markus are below the required number of grams for the first time – which they don’t know before they eat. Jolina completes her piece shortly before the time is up – but neither of them get stars. Rules are rules.

When it comes to ox tripe, both prefer to put a few grams more on the scales – to be on the safe side. “I’ve thrown up in my mouth three times”, Jolina complains, choking. They still don’t get the stars, because they don’t manage to get the rumen down.
In the end, RTL gives each of them a nightcap on the house: 200 grams of gut juice for one star. In the end, they earn a total of four out of eleven stars.

After Verena Kerth’s departure on Friday caused a big surprise, the campers are now prepared for everything. Second, NDW legend Markus Mörl has to leave the camp. He got the fewest calls on Saturday.
