Sandra Bullock announces retirement from acting due to health issues

LOS ANGELES UNITED STATES.- After announcing her retirement from acting in March to spend more time with her children, the actress Sandra Bullock recently revealed that she is very grateful for her success.

Despite being very happy about her good moment in the film industry, Bullock confessed that this has not come without sacrifices and that continuing to work “at the top” as she has done so far will bring serious consequences to her health.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporterthe 57-year-old actress has warned that she will be away from the big screen indefinitely due to a health problem known as “burnout” or professional burnout syndrome.

“I don’t want to be indebted to anyone’s schedule but my own. I’m so ‘burned out’. I am so tired and I am not capable of making healthy and intelligent decisions and I know it”, assured the protagonist of “The proposal”.

Likewise, the film director also said she was grateful for the job opportunities that have arisen over the years, which have allowed her to consolidate one of the most recognized careers on the big screen.

“Work has always been constant for me and I have been very lucky, but I realized that it was possibly becoming my crutch. It was like opening a fridge all the time and looking for something that was never there,” said Sandra Bullock.

The American actress did not confirm if her retirement was temporary or permanent, since she did not speak of a possible date of return to the studies.

“I want to be in home. I just want to be home… Because I was always running, I was always running to the next thing. I just want to be present and be responsible for one thing, ”Bullock said, regretting the little time he has spent with his children.

“If I decide to retire, then I will make that announcement. A very important announcement that nobody will care about”, concluded the actress who won the award. Oscar award in 2010.
