“Schloss am Wörthersee” star Karl Spiehs: Angelika was attacked by her son

She’s had a tough few months! At the end of January, the news was announced that the successful television producer Karl Spiehs passed away at the age of 90. The Austrian, who, among other things, launched the cult series “Ein Schloss am Wörthersee”, was praised during his lifetime by cult entertainers such as Thomas Gottschalk (71), who once claimed that Spiehs had “Made Critics Weep and Audiences Laugh”.

The film and series producer left behind his wife Angelika (77) and son Benjamin (41). But instead of being united in grief, the mother-son duo is currently causing little good news. As the “Bild” newspaper claims to have learned, the 41-year-old is said to have attacked his mother in her villa in Carinthia, Austria, and was arrested shortly thereafter. Now Angelika Spiehs commented on the incident for the first time!

He was on the right track. After the death of his beloved dad, he relapsed. Secretly drank vodka and beer, had 2.4 that day Alcohol levels. Now he’s in rehab for two months.”
