«I know nothing about contracts and the state of affairs. But I can tell you it’s a really good script,” Cox told Entertainment Tonight. You really have to be killed if you talk about it, and that’s why she doesn’t want to give any further details, she jokes.
It’s not the first time Courteney Cox has spoken out about the film project. In March, she revealed on the Just For Variety podcast that she had received the script for the upcoming film.
According to her, filming is expected to start in June in Canada. The actress will play Gale Weathers again in the next film. She has been in this role since the first part of the series in 1996.

In February it was announced that a sixth part of “Scream” is being planned. The release date was set shortly thereafter.
