Hollywood star Selena Gomez has said she plans to eventually retire from the art world to pursue motherhood and philanthropy.
In a chat with podcast hosts and personal friends Raquelle Stevens and Ashley Cook, the former Disney girl discussed her intentions to be a mother in a few years. “I hope to get married and be a mother…Eventually, I’ll get tired of all this, so I’ll probably spend most of my life in philanthropy before I’m at peace,” she said.
The desire to mother comes from the hand of her eight-year-old half-sister, Gracie Teefey, since seeing her grow up at her side has solidified the decision to have children of her own.
“She puts things into perspective. Basically, I got to watch this little person become a human being. There’s no better feeling in the world. In a way, I feel like a mother, even though I’m not. It’s so gratifying to see that life was so simple at one point. I want to enjoy life as she enjoys it”commented.
It does not seem strange that at 30 years old, the producer of the series “Only Murders in the Building” intends to have children and dedicate herself more to her personal life since her professional career began when she was barely 10 years old. She later became a star in acting and music. In addition to becoming a businesswoman with her own line of cosmetics.
