Sleep is the most important thing for fitness

Healthy eating and regular exercise: the Hollywood star pays attention to that. But what he cares about the most is getting enough sleep, he says.

Los Angeles – US actor Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man”) has spoken about his recipe for a healthy and fit life. “The most important part of exercise is sleep,” the 53-year-old told Men’s Health magazine. “People set their alarm clock, then sleep for four hours and get up to exercise. In doing so, they are doing themselves a disservice.”

Rudd, who was named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, says he’s occasionally asked about his diet or exercise plans. “People ask me, can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you do sport? Do you drink? do you eat carbs Do you have a day when you allow yourself to break the rules?” But his advice is simple, “Get some eight hours of sleep,” Rudd said. Only then does he also pay attention to healthy food and then to sports. dpa
