Just dive into the spa, enjoy wellness and let your soul dangle – who doesn’t long for it in these times? At the “Spa Awards” the VIPs were able to enjoy a little time out – and the ladies were finally able to wear their evening dresses again. As part of the glamorous event, the best international spa addresses and beauty products are honored every year – on Saturday for the 25th time. The award ceremony took place for the first time in the famous “Stanglwirt” of the Hauser family in Going in Tyrol near Kitzbühel.

For 20,000 euros: Verona Pooth auctions itself

As in previous years, Barbara Schöneberger led the evening in a quick-witted and charming manner: “It’s different here than in previous years, but I think that’s good. It’s my first time at the Stanglwirt,” she said. She then supported Wolfram Kons at the charity auction, where, in addition to tickets for “Let’s Dance” including a meet & greet with Victoria Swarovski and football tickets (donated by Anna Lewandowski), a day with Verona Pooth also came under the hammer. “We have to open our eyes – and also our wallets,” appealed Wolfram Kons. A total of 41,750 euros was raised.

The day with Verona Pooth alone brought in a proud 20,000 euros. She came in a red glitter robe – a custom-made product from the label “Pio O’kann”, as she said: “It’s a nice feeling to be back here. The Spa Awards are a wonderful occasion and have been for many years. Even if the conditions are not easy at the moment.” She came without her husband Franjo: “He’s working in his company – and I’m here. We’re not always out and about together.”
