Ben Affleck puts on his director hat for Nike. After disappearing from the radar following his film Live by night released in 2017, the American actor finally returns to the camera for the realization of Aira film that looks back at the genesis of the association between the Nike brand and the basketball player Michael Jordan. The announcement was made in April 2022 and thrilled both fans of the orange ball and sneakerheads. But since then, no details had been given.

We learn today via a full press release fromAmazon Studio, Skydance Sports and Mandalay Pictures that the film is set to hit US theaters on April 5. It will also be offered on Prime Video in the United States and France, if Warner Bros, which negotiated the exploitation rights abroad, does not decide to release it only in theaters.
