The Batman will have a sequel with Robert Pattinson as Gotham’s vigilante

The success of The Batman is indisputable. Warner Bros chose a presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday April 26 to announce the long-awaited coming of The Batman 2. The few details revealed will delight those who enjoyed the first opus because the second part will call on the talents of the same team. When Matt Reeves returns as director, Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman and “the whole crew” will bring “viewers back to Gotham in The Batman 2”. Other than these crucial details, little information has been revealed about the script and release date, but expect a first screening sometime in 2026. Director Matt Reeves seems very proud to take over the reins of the project . He spoke after the Warner Bros announcement at CinemaCon and wanted to thank the public for their support: “Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman. We couldn’t have come to this without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world. I can’t wait to dive back into that world for the next chapter.”
