‘The Bridgertons’ season two: we have new photos

The seriéphile year has started in style: we gave the Chimes with ‘Emily in Paris’ 2, we entered the January slope with the new chapters of ‘Euphoria’ and now we have been able to have a small preview of what is coming in the second installment of ‘The Bridgertons’. Netflix published this Wednesday a gallery with new images that graphically puts us in the background about the new soap opera that is upon us. Hold on because Lady Whistledown has just served piping hot tea.

In the new snapshots we delve a little deeper into the two protagonists who will lead these new episodes: Anthony Bridgerton, brother of the doubtful Daphne, and his new romance, Kate Sharma. The new couple, played by Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, promises to turn the palace upside down thanks to a love that will not be easy. Of course, there will be a dance between the two, as we can already see. Likewise, the figure of Daphne will also be present —although with less prominence—, whose love affairs will also have to be resolved in the background… without the Duke of Hastings on the scene. The sport of fencing, a lovable Corgi puppy and a necessary Penelope Featherington also appear in these new snapshots.

Everything we know about the second season

To begin with, the new chapters will land in our lives next March 25, a date that we already have reserved in the calendar for an unprecedented marathon on the couch. On the other hand, as far as we know at the moment, the Duke of Hastings will not appear in season two, whose narrative will be somewhat different from that of the books written by Julia Quinn. Come on, it will be a kind of literary reinterpretation that will make everything much more romantic, we have no doubt.

On the other hand, the new signings that promise to give a lot of trouble are Charithra Chandran, Shelley Conn, Calam Lynch and Rupert Young, interpreters whose role we will break down in more depth here. While Nicola Coughlan (Penelope in fiction) confirmed a few months ago that this season will be “much spicier.” Even more? In short, the ‘hype’ through the roof.
