the evolution of the stars of the series of the 2000s in pictures

“Dr. House”; “Lost, the disappeared”; “Desperate Housewives”… Many series released in the 2000s have become cult. Some even continue to be “binged” by those who had already seen them on TV at the time or those who discover them on streaming platforms or DTT channels, on which they are (re-re)rebroadcast . We also think of comedies “Malcolm” or “How I Met Your Mother”. Frankie Muniz who played Malcolm in the series broadcast between 2000 and 2006, as well as Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby), Cobie Smulders (aka Robin Scherbatsky) and Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin) from “HIMYM”, a series released in 2005, made the heyday of 2000s television.

Forgotten actors and actresses

Some have remained on the screens, others have disappeared. In 2004, the first season of the series “Veronica Mars” starring Kristen Bell as the high school student/detective was released. Role she held until 2007, then resumed in 2019 for a unique revival. We also saw her in “The Good Place” (2016-2020) and, more recently, in “The Woman Who Lived Opposite the Girl at the Window” (2022). Difficult to say the same for Tom Welling, who played Clark Kent / Superman in “Smallville”, and who did not really chain the roles after the end of the series in 2011.

On French television, the 2000s were the KD2A years, a France 2 program which broadcast many series such as “Coeur ocean” or “Samantha Oups”. In 2005, the first episodes of “Kaamelott” were broadcast on M6. And, in the first part of the series of films by Alexandre Astier released in 2021, we rediscovered the cast… which has changed a lot.
