Louis Ducruetthe eldest son of Stephanie of Monaco, and his wife Marie They revealed that they are expecting a baby next year. Albert of Monaco’s nephew and Grace Kelly’s grandson is currently 15th in line to the Monegasque throne.

The parents-to-be, both 29, tied the knot in Monaco in 2019. They took to Instagram, where they shared a photo posing with their dog Pancake, wearing a T-shirt that reads “soon to be big brother”. The snap, which shows the beaming couple, was captioned: “An adventure is about to begin” with a heart emoji.

Friends and family took to the comments section to congratulate the happy couple. One person wrote: ‘Congratulations beautiful family’. While another said: ‘Congratulations to both of you!’

The news comes after the couple spoke about their plans to have a family in April. Speaking to the French magazine Point of viewthe couple admitted they both wanted a child, but while Louis wanted to dive right in, event executive Marie wanted to wait to focus on her career.

The couple commented that the women in their respective families _ such as Princess Stephanie of Monaco _, they often ask when they will have a baby. Marie said she would like to stop after having two children, while Louis, who works as an international projects adviser at Nottingham Forest football club, would like to have four.

“It’s true that Louis has been talking to me about his desire to be a father for several years,” Marie said. “I’m not totally ready yet. I would like to wait a bit longer, but maybe next year?” she said. “30 would be a beautiful age to make this project a reality”, indicated her husband.

The couple admitted that they also have different views when it comes to the number of children they would like to have.

“Ideally, I would like to have three or four children. I have a brother and three sisters,” Louis said. “Having a big family like mine would be a true happiness,” he added. However, his wife said that she would prefer to stop at two children.
