The Spice Girl ex became a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) on Wednesday, May 4.

It is one of the most prestigious decorations in Britain. Melanie Brown, aka Mel B, the former “Scary Spice” of the Spice Girls, was honored at Buckingham Palace for her actions against violence against women. It was Prince William himself who presented him with the Order of the British Empire (MBE), on Wednesday May 4.

The mother of Phoenix Gulzar, 23, Angel Brown, 15, and Madison Brown, 10, is not the first Spice Girls to receive such an award. In 2017, it was the wife of David Beckham who had received a distinction for his contribution to the British fashion industry and his humanitarian commitment.
