The film is based on the graphic novel by Richard McGuire. here which talks about the many people who inhabit the same room at different times and over the years.
In addition to bringing together Wright and Hanks in its cast, the film has the participation of the screenwriter Eric Rothwho was also participated in Forrest Gump and who became a creditor of one of the six Oscars that the film received in 1995.
This is not the first time that Zemeckis has experimented with technology in his films, an example of which is Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), in which the director mixed animation with live action, and The Polar Express (2004) in which he used the motion capture technique.
The Methaphysic technology was first introduced on the show America’s Got Talent in 2022 when they presented a photorealistic avatar of Elvis Presley singing on stage.
But the attempt to rejuvenate the actors with various techniques had already been tried before in films such as The Irishman of Martin Scorsese and soon in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
