This Sunday, May 15, a portrait of the singer Louane was broadcast on the show Sept à Huit on TF1. On this occasion, the young singer returned to her early career. Music and singing have always been part of his life. “When I was a kid, at 10, I opened the door to my room and sang hoping that a producer would come by. In Hénin-Beaumont. I believed in it like no one else. I’ve always sung”she breathes.
She says that it was her nanny, Monique, who discovered her gift. “She was the second woman who raised me. She always pushed me into it and she said to me, You got something. She signed me up for a singing competition, I I started taking classes for hours and hours. It’s the one thing I never gave up.” she indicates.
Louane says that music saved her and allowed her to move forward. In the space of a few months, the young woman saw her mother and then her father taken away by illness. She says that her musical projects finally allowed her to mourn “much softer”. “When I need to speak, I put it in my songs. I decide what I give. Sometimes out of modesty, sometimes out of protection”, she breathes.
