This is war and The Big Show: Former TV dancer and choreographer are at risk of not participating in the RMMN international competition | SHOWS

The award-winning dance couple made up of Julliana Villacorta and Karlos Vasquez, who recently won first place in “Open Championship Ballroom Dance Santa Fe – Argentina 2022″, are at risk of not participating in international competitions due to lack of visa validation in Peru.

The talented Julliana and Karlos have represented the country through “Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Venice”, in various international dance competitions, obtaining first, second and fourth place in different dance competitions, standing out in Bachata.

“We want to fulfill our dreams”

They were given a special visa for a one-year cultural program for P3 artists (bachata dancers) and have returned to the country to comply with the corresponding seal; however, they are having trouble processing the document through the US Embassy in Peru.

Dancing is our passion and we just want to fulfill our dreams. We feel frustrated. We only need the visa in our passport to go and represent our beloved Peru. Vasquez said.

In addition, these great professionals have been developing their talent for more than seven years in important television programs, they have been part of the team of dancers and choreographers in “El Artista del Año”, “El Gran Show” and “Estos es Guerra”.

We want to be the inspiration for many Peruvian talents who can teach and get ahead through dance, therefore, we need the support to process the document to be able to travel to dance competitions in the USVillacorta commented.

The most important competition that is coming up is the World Mambo Championship – USDC (United States Dance Championship ) – Orlando, USA, and they are willing to get first place.
