This is what Stifler’s Mom from “American Pie” looks like today

At the end of the 1990s, she made the hearts of many young men beat faster. Since then, more than 20 years have passed. However, time seems to have passed Jennifer Coolidge without a trace.

Hardly any other teen comedy caused such a sensation in the nineties as “American Pie”. 23 years later, fans still remember the hot apple pie or the flute from summer camp, but also Stifler’s Mom, who turned one or the other young man’s head in the film series. Finch (played by Eddie Kaye Thomas) in particular was after his friend’s mother.

The role was embodied by Jennifer Coolidge with the long blond hair, the striking décolleté and the seductive look. The actress was 38 years old at the time and still relatively unknown. It was only through her role in “American Pie” that she – like the other actors – became a star worldwide.

23 years later, Jennifer Coolidge is still doing well. The list of her films is long. “Legally Blonde”, “Cinderella Story” or “Dr. Dolittle” are part of her filmography. In addition, there is hardly a series in which she has not had at least one guest appearance. For example, the 60-year-old was seen in “Friends”, “Sex and the City”, “Seinfeld”, “Nip/Tuck” or in “Immer wieder Jim”. In the hit series “2 Broke Girls” she flickered across the screens for six years.

However, most will remember Jennifer Coolidge as Stifler’s Mom. After the film, the actress had actually looked around privately for younger men. In a previous interview, she once said that “American Pie” revitalized her love life. “I dated younger guys after that movie. I really dated younger guys 10-15 years after that.”

However, the right man was never there. At the age of 60, Jennifer Coolidge gave up her belief in true love. “I don’t know if the love of my life exists,” she said in an interview with the teleschau news agency in August. “How can someone exist who has exactly the same funny taste and sense of humor as I do?”
