Tom Cruise, his sensational arrival at the premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick”

This is called a crashing entrance. On Wednesday, May 4, Tom Cruise arrived at the premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick” aboard an N547SA helicopter that he piloted himself. After landing the craft at the USS Midway in San Diego, Calif., the 59-year-old actor emerged from the cockpit smiling and walked along the tarmac. Sunglasses on his nose, the actor buttoned the jacket of his bespoke Brioni three-piece navy blue suit, before greeting those present. Afterwards, the ‘Mission Impossible’ star posed on the red carpet alongside her costars, Jennifer Connelly and Miles Teller. Both are part of the new recruits of the feature film.

Supposed to be released in theaters in June 2020, the film has been repeatedly postponed due to the health crisis. After nearly two years of repetitive change, “Top Gun: Maverick” will finally be released on May 25, 2022. Tom Cruise finds, 36 years later, his famous character, Lieutenant Pete Mitchell (Maverick). Recently, he also had a few nice words for Lady Gaga whose new song from the soundtrack “Hold My Hand”, is, according to him, “the heartbeat of (their) film”.
