Tom Cruise Makes a Spectacular Helicopter Arrival at the US Premiere of ‘Top Gun 2’


Why make it simple when you can make it complicated ? Tom Cruise thought it big for the US premiere of Top Gun 2 which took place this Wednesday, May 4 in San Diego, California. Before the unveiling of the feature film, the 59-year-old actor decided to make an appearance worthy of the greatest Hollywood films and it was aboard a helicopter bearing the image of the saga. The actor was joined by other members of the film’s crew, including Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly.

Top Gun: Maverick will be unveiled in France on May 18 at the Cannes Film Festival before hitting theaters on May 25. After being announced for 2019, the film’s release was postponed to 2020 to give Tom Cruise time to learn how to actually fly fighter jets. Then the pandemic meant another postponement.
