Couldn’t go to Turin to attend Eurovision? You can still experience the contest from home. It is indeed possible to attend the semi-finals live, (almost) as if you were there.

The first semi-final, which takes place this Tuesday, May 10 at the PalaOlimpico in Turin, is streamed live on Youtube, on the official account Eurovision Song Contest at 9 p.m. French time.

full immersion

And for total immersion, the official Eurovision Youtube channel also broadcasts the candidates’ rehearsals, clips and songs.

Seventeen countries are taking part in this first semi-final, Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Moldova, Portugal, Croatia, Denmark, Austria, Iceland, Greece, Norway and Armenia.

Ten of them will be selected at the end of this first semi-final. The second semi-final will be held on Thursday May 12.

Since 2004, all countries have had to compete in these two semi-finals, with the exception of five, automatically qualified for the final, Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy ( since 2011).
