“Who wants to be a millionaire?” Woman unpacks a spicy conversation with Gottschalk

For Barbara from Essen it is already the second “Who wants to be a millionaire?” appearance when she sits on the legendary quiz chair on Wednesday evening (January 4th). In the previous edition of the “3 million euro week”, the former stewardess prevailed against her fellow campaigners in the studio. Now it’s time to qualify for Friday’s mega jackpot.

Between the hail of questions, “Who wants to be a millionaire?” moderator Günther Jauch also wants to learn something personal from the woman from Essen. One anecdote is of particular interest to him. It’s about his TV colleague Thomas Gottschalk.

“Who wants to be a millionaire?” candidate serves Thomas Gottschalk in first class

In fact, Barbara has met the “Wetten, dass..?” presenter in person before. On a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt am Main to Los Angeles, his adopted home, the stewardess is responsible for his catering. On this day, of all days, Barbara is working in First Class for the very first time. “So I was just as excited as I am here in this chair,” she admits to Günther Jauch.

But there is no way around it. Barbara has to overcome herself and seek a conversation with Thomas Gottschalk. Because: She is responsible for accepting his menu requests. At first everything goes according to plan. Barbara stands in front of Gottschalk with the menu and a pen in her hand, he chooses a dish. But that’s not the end of the matter.

“Who wants to be a millionaire?” Participant makes Gottschalk a spicy compliment

“Then I have to ask: ‘Would you like a salad with that?'” the ex-stewardess recalls. After Thomas Gottschalk says yes, she asks him what dressing he would like to have with it. It gets too colorful for the showmaster. “But you’re curious. Would you also like to know what my shoe size is?” he counters.

The intimidated Barbara, for whom it was the first shift in first class, immediately tries to calm the situation and appease the prominent passenger. Completely excited, she replies to the ZDF star: “Everything is definitely very big about you, Mr. Gottschalk.” With her nice comment, the conversation suddenly took a completely different direction.

A treat for Thomas Gottschalk, who likes to let loose one or the other spicy saying. “Not everything, my hands are pretty small,” he replies to the stewardess with a grin. This ambiguous encounter will probably never be forgotten by the “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” contestant.
