Although she is only 15 years old, Alexia Balcázar Rojas knows very well what she wants in her life. When she graduates, in two years, from the British College, she wants to study Architecture and Administration, and then run her own company.

Meanwhile enjoy your youthful years. Although she considers herself a quiet girl, she likes to go for a walk with her friends, go to the movies, eat ice cream or go shopping.

She is the daughter of David Balcázar and Claudia Silvana Rojas, and has a younger sister, Juliana, with whom she gets along very well.

In her free moments she loves to read, listen to music and watch TV. He also practices kick boxing, which also allows him to maintain a healthy figure.

Alexia loves animals, so she asks that they not be mistreated, not only pets, but also those that are used at work.

“Luckily there are already institutions that care for animals, that do not allow them to be exploited and that assist them when they are on the street,” he said.

She also declares herself a defender of flora. She believes that the city needs more trees in the streets and in the squares. “We need more green spaces, not only for recreation, but because they purify our air and give the city freshness,” said the fifteen-year-old.

“How beautiful it is to see Santa Cruz full of plants and flowers. Its flowery landscapes are unmatched and it fills all Santa Cruz with pride,” he said.

Alexia calls for a more natural, greener city.
