A track that could never be verified… In their investigation of the case Xavier Dupont de Ligonnesjournalists from Society revealed that the famous French fugitive had two secret Facebook accounts under his belt. Two assumed names. Only, this is obviously not the only false identity that the famous Nantais could have taken. While on the run, the latter would have sent a message to his childhood sweetheart, Catherine K.

Catherine K., the youthful lover that Xavier Dupont de Ligonnes contacted her again a few days before the tragedy, also reported to the police having been approached by a certain Philippe Steinerwhom she does not know around May 20“, reported our colleagues. To the gendarmes, the latter had told of having received a strange message “hinting that they might have had a correspondence in the past“. Namely the one she had with xavier before the tragedy… Unfortunately, when the young woman wanted to respond to this mysterious person, the Facebook account in question was already deleted. In view of the fact that she spoke, a month earlier, with the fugitive, many tend to believe – even today – that it was indeed Xavier Dupont de Ligonnes.
