- “Fernsehgarten” presenter Andrea Kiewel has again put his foot in it.
- She asks artist Lili Paul-Roncalli a piquant question.
- The 24-year-old is outraged – and counters.
The “ZDF television garden” actually stands for a good mood. With her question as to whether artist Lili Paul-Roncalli would like to have children, moderator Andrea Kiewel shot herself on Sunday morning (May 16). The 24-year-old responded to her daring question: “You don’t ask a woman such questions anymore in 2022.” Instead of seeing her faux pas, the longtime presenter stuck with it and groped even deeper in the faux pas with the statement: “Yes, precisely because you can ask that”.
However, the Austrian-Italian artist remained calm and answered the further questions from Kiewel with a smile.
The motto of the Sunday show was “Bella Italia, bella musica, bella vita”. This time, hostess Kiewel was delighted to have entertainer Riccardo Simonetti as co-moderator. The two presented the pizza world champion, Italian fashion and the ESC highlights from the previous evening.
The Twitter community vents its anger after the “TV Garden” interview
The interview following the former “Let’s Dance” contestant’s contortion performance sparked a wave of negative comments on Twitter. “Ask a woman on live television about her desire to have children is just super tactless and impudent. #TV garden #Kiwi just doesn’t work in 2022,” writes one user. “What a great woman! She counters Kiwi properly!”, adds another viewer.
